The
Graveyard Shift
"Every
block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor
to discover it" As you visit a cemetery, you may feel that you are not alone. You may have company silently watching you. |
Statues found in cemeteries can range from small to larger than life size figures. Some are generic while others were individually created, sometimes in the image of the person whose grave it marks. While these are some of the most memorable images you may remember from your visit, sadly, these beautiful stones are often prime targets for vandals. |
